Recorder Integration

The recorders you already have, on one screen

View live and recorded video, control PTZ and export footage from recorders of several brands on one screen, without replacing recorders or re-cabling.

Simulated

The problem

  • Recorders from different brands each need their own vendor software, so staff switch between programs to see every site.
  • You want one place to watch every camera, without replacing recorders or re-cabling.
  • Footage sent to other agencies leaves no record of who exported it, and nobody knows which camera has stopped recording.

How it works

01

Existing devices

DVR / NVR / VMS recorders, cameras over ONVIF or RTSP, AI face boxes and licence-plate readers.

02

Brand connector layer

One plug-in per brand using the manufacturer's SDK / API; new brands are added without changing the core.

03

Your own server

Installed on the organisation's own server (on-premise); works on a closed network.

04

Control-room screen

Every recorder on one screen.

Capabilities

Keep your recorders

  • Keep your recorders, mix twelve brands — DVR, NVR and VMS from Hikvision / Hilook, Dahua, UNV, Milestone, Bosch, Avigilon Alta, Tiandy, Holowits, Hanwha, i‑PRO, Axis Camera Station and Axxon, several brands at once in one system. New brands are added as plug-ins without changing the core.
  • Add direct cameras over ONVIF or RTSP — cameras that are not behind a recorder can be viewed live.

Live and recorded video

  • Every channel, laid out your way — arrange 1 to 256 cameras per screen, rotate views automatically, use multiple monitors, zoom digitally and take snapshots.
  • Playback from the recorders you already have — search by camera, date and time and change playback speed, with no vendor software. A recording calendar and timeline are available on supported brands.
  • Control PTZ cameras — pan and tilt in 16 directions, optical zoom and presets 1–8 on Hikvision and Dahua cameras.

Evidence export

  • Export footage with a full audit trail — Raw, AVI or MP4 with progress shown, logging who exported what, when, from which camera and for which time range.
  • Watermark and resumable export — add a text or image watermark, split long files into chunks, download over 1–4 parallel streams and resume after a dropped session on supported brands.

Map

  • Cameras on the map, with direction — Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Mapbox 2D or an offline map; each camera's direction shown as a 60° cone; click a recorder to unfold its cameras.
  • Link traffic routes to cameras — draw links between traffic routes and camera positions; select a route and its cameras open automatically.

Administration

  • Roles and an audit log — assign roles, restrict cameras by area group, and log live view, playback, snapshots, exports, PTZ and sign-ins.
  • Know when a camera stops responding — camera connection status in real time and an on-screen alert, with sound and a colour change on the map pin.
  • Health Monitor — a per-camera recording calendar, a monthly availability (uptime) report exported as PDF or CSV, and status from the recorders.

AI events

  • Bring AI events into the same screen — receive events from AI face boxes and licence-plate readers, prioritise them, pop up alerts, open live and playback video at the scene, and search by plate or face.

Who uses it

Local-authority control rooms with several recorder brands

Staff see every site on one screen, with no per-brand software.

Schools and single buildings that already have recorders

Keep the existing recorders, no re-cabling, live and playback from the same devices.

Handing over evidence to other agencies

Export the time range needed, add a watermark, and keep a record of who exported it.

Checking that cameras really record

Recording calendar, uptime report and an alert when a camera stops responding.

Following up AI events

A face or plate event pops up, an operator takes it and opens live and recorded video at the scene.

Deployment

  • On-premise on the organisation's own server
  • Works on a closed network
